Gatorade energy chews review

I saw these in the store one night and I am a fan of Gatorade and Powerade, So I thought it might be useful since I work nights incase I felt tired and run down. I didn’t read the package when I purchased it so I was just jumping the gun you could say. It was $1.00 at my local Wal-Mart so I assumed no foul if I didn’t like them. What’s a dollar now a day’s right?

When I woke up to go to work my boyfriend said to me he was glad he read the package before he decided to eat one. I asked him what he meant and he said that you have to eat all the contents of the package not just one and then you have to wait 15 mins for it to kick in. I totally thought it was just 1 chew not all 6! This is what the package says:

“Directions

Eat 6 chews 15 minutes prior to exercise or competition.”

So It’s not something I can use more than once because it’s a eat all to get anything (or at least how I look at it.) I decided to take them with me to work and save them for when I became tired and needed something to kick me back into gear. So I opened the container (which was a feat in itself.) and popped one in my mouth and started chewing. I immediately noticed the grittiness of it and the taste was awful. I got through 3 and wasn’t able to stomach anymore so some on my team also tried it. Some enjoyed it and said it tasted like a gummy fruit snack. Others agreed with me about the taste and the grittiness its really like a old gummy bear that should not have still been on the shelf of the gas station that no one goes to that’s been sitting there collecting dust for who know how long. So I myself do not recommend this product. Have you tried them? What was your experience?
