Gel polish allows for the option to paint your nails only once in a 14 day period. The thing about gel polish is to get started is expensive because you have to have a light and it takes extra steps to get your nail polished. So that is where Miracle Gel comes in, No light needed to cure this polish and removes like a regular polish instead of a soak off base.

I got to try Purplexed for this review but also got to try the 2 that Jessica had purchased, hunger flames and Street flair.

I love how gorgeous this shade of purple is. It is so royal and beautiful I just can't stop staring at it.

I used 2 coats of Purplexed with no base as it says to do with 1 coat of the Miracle Gel top coat.

The polish was easy to apply and applied evenly. It dried quickly even with being inside without sunlight.

Cons: Both I and Jessica experienced chipping quick. I Kept painting my nails with it and before I could get home to take a picture with my lamp it was chipped. I would say within 8 hours of applying it came off in one piece. I tried a few different ways to increase the life of the polish by making sure there was no oil on my nails causing it to come off. Jessica said she was getting chips within about 6 hours of applying. What we found to be odd was that when Jessica used the Miracle Gel on her acrylic nails it didn't budge for at least 10 days. I am not sure why we had such issues with our natural nails but it happened with us both.

As you know nail chemistry makes some more prone to chipping so it could just be us. Have you tried the Miracle Gel from Sally Hansen? What was your experience?
